About Trust

The Kongu Vellalar Trust was formed in the year 1999, under the leadership of Thiru. Sengodagounder (Ramani group of Companies) as the Chairman. The trust consists of Executive Committee Members & Educational Committee Members.

Initially, the Trust started the Kongu School in fairlands area, opposite to SKS Hospital on 14-June-2000 with the minimum strength of 96 students. From the year 2003, the school has its permanent building located at Vellakkalpatty, Salem-12 with the strength of 1000 students and above. The intention to develop the school into a model secondary school got materialized in the shortest possible time.

Adding feather to the cap, on 10-July-2013, Kongu Montessori Kinder Garten (play way method of learning) was inaugurated by our chairman. The school promises an excellent environment for the toddlers to learn & grow and is doing well.

The aim of the trust is to impart quality education to the society, irrespective of caste, creed & religion.
